Eighteen months after their engagement, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas finally said their 'I Do's on Thursday. The couple solemnised their almost three years long relationship and took wedding vows in Las Vegas just after attending 2019 Billboard Music Awards. The news of their marriage was broken by American DJ Diplo who went live from the wedding on Instagram. Present at the ceremony were Joe's brother Kevin and Nick with their better halves, Danielle Jonas and Priyanka Chopra. (Source: jjosephjonas/ Instagram)
While announcing their engagement in October 2017, the American singer Joe and Game Of Thrones star Sophie shared identical photos on Instagram. While Turner, 23, captioned it, "I said yes," Joe wrote, "She said yes."
The rumours of them dating started doing the rounds after they were spotted up close at pre-MTV Europe Music Awards Kings of Leon concert at the Oude Luxor Theater in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Sophie and Joe started dating in November 2016 but kept their relationship under the wraps.
In May 2017, Nick Jonas confirmed their relationship as he wrote "These two ❤️" about them.
Talking about her relationship with Joe, Sophie Turner told Times of London, "I'm happier than I've been in a very long time. I very much isolated myself for a while and forgot what was fun. Going out with friends, going out to eat, not really having a care. And people I've met recently in my life have drawn me out of that. It really helps you own those insecurities. The things I tortured myself about before, I can forget about."
The two stars adopted a pet together and named it Porky Basquiat.
After announcing their engagement, both, Turner and Jonas didn't shy from expressing love for each other on social media.
