The NTA has postponed exam for 11,000 students who were scheduled to appear for the CUET UG 2022 exam in Phase 4 (August 17 and 20), as their city preference could not be met. Now, these candidates will be asked to appear for the exam on August 30. The details about their city, date and time of exam will be released today but the exam centre will be notified later.

NTA had also rescheduled exam for Itanagar aspirants as the area had observed heavy landslides on August 8.

The NTA has now adopted new measures for smooth functioning of exams. New exam centres are being set up across India which will be managed by the NTA.

The UGC chairman said that the NTA has learnt from the August 4 episode and has since rectified its errors at any and every exam centre, saying "if you look at the exams cinducted on the kater dates, the exams were conducted with minimum or no problems".
