Jangpura Election Results 2025 Live: The Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Manish Sisodia conceded defeat, leading to the victory of Tarvinder Singh Marwah of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by 600+ votes.
The Jangpura Assembly constituency of Delhi went to polls on February 05, 2025, with the candidates in fray from the Jangpura constituency are – Manish Sisodia of the AAP, Tarvinder Singh Marwah of the BJP and Farhad Suri of the INC.
In the last Assembly elections, the AAP’s Praveen Kumar won by a margin of 16063 votes. The BJP’s Impreet Singh Bakshi was the runner up securing 29070 votes. In the 2020 Assembly elections, Delhi had recorded 61.46 per cent voter turnout for the 70 Assembly constituencies.
The Congress party has won Delhi for three consecutive terms from 1998 to 2013. The BJP has won only once. In 2013, the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP ended Congress rule, with a short-lived minority government. The party has now completed its second consecutive term (2015 to 2025).
