The Karnataka Assembly elections are scheduled to be held on May 10 and the counting of votes will take place on May 13. The term of the current 224-seat Karnataka Assembly gets over on May 24.

As the candidates start filing their nominations, we take a look at their assets. B Y Vijayendra, the son of BJP veteran and ex-CM B S Yediyurappa, who filed his nomination from his father’s Shikaripura seat in Shivamogga has declared total assets worth Rs 103.39 crore. His immovable assets stand at Rs 46.82 crore, while liabilities at 18.14 crore. Yediyurappa had abdicated the seat in favour of his son in July 2022 and ensured that the party leadership fields Vijayendra from there in his place.
