US President Donald Trump Inauguration Day 2025: One of the highly anticipated presidential transitions at the White House is scheduled for January 20 when US President-elect Donald Trump will helm the thrones again from the incumbent President Joe Biden.
Trump has already been busy after winning the US presidential election in November in readying his team by shortlisting most of his Cabinet nominees and other key positions of the White House.
Trump has promised several plans for the first day in office, including imposing import tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China and pardoning the accused of January 6 Capitol Hill riots among others.
The inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to take place on Monday, January 20, 2025.
The date coincides with Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which means that there will be a national holiday in America on January 20.
The inauguration day will begin with President-elect Donald Trump’s Swearing-In Ceremony, which will begin at 12 pm Eastern Time (10:30 pm Indian Standard Time) on January 20.
The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) manages the Inauguration Day programs and till now, it has not released a timetable or the names of speakers, musical artists or other guests who would be present during the inauguration.
JCCIC has however released the major beats of the Inauguration Day, which is as follows:
The Inauguration Day ceremony, scheduled for January 20, will air on all major television news networks including, NBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, Fox News, CSPAN among others.
Tickets for the Inauguration Day are limited and will be available only upon requests made by the individual through members of the Congress, the United States government has said.
According to the USA.gov “Tickets are free and allow you to watch in person on the grounds of the US Capitol as the president and vice president are sworn in on Jan. 20, 2025.”
