An unidentified Muslim man hugged mourners in Paris.

Since the November 13 Paris attacks, many personal accounts and stories of the incident have gone viral on social media. Recently, an unidentified Muslim man wearing a blindfold and holding a sign saying “Do you trust me” invited people to hug him if they did. The man reportedly received hundreds of hugs.

The video was captured and uploaded by a digital news platform and has garnered over 1.8 million views.

“I am a Muslim, but that doesn’t make me a terrorist,” said the man standing at Place de la Republique, where many Parisians came to pay their tribute to those who lost their lives during the attacks. Later he removed the blindfold to reveal his face and thanked them for trusting him.
