Foreigners grooving to Bollywood songs always make waves online. Dressed in traditional Indian attire, a US man, Taran Knowles, is winning hearts with his electrifying performance to the iconic Bollywood track Beedi Jalaile alongside his Indian fiancée, Aishwarya Deshpande, at their sangeet ceremony.
From swift hip shakes and foot-tapping rhythms to a perfectly executed cartwheel, Knowles nailed his Bollywood performance, while Deshpande seamlessly matched his high-energy moves. The groom kicks off the dance by lying on the floor, pretending to be drunk. As the song begins, he rises and adds a few steps with a dupatta in hand. The bride joins him as soon as the female verse of the song starts. The guests at the ceremony can be heard cheering.
“This was the last performance of Sangeet night, and Taran absolutely killed it!! When I first introduced him to Bollywood songs, he was in awe. He found this one so catchy and energetic that he DIY-ed his solo straight from the music video and let me tell you—he ate and left no crumbs! From being a non-dancer to completely stealing my thunder (and I’m the professional dancer here!), this man has officially won my heart… and possibly my dance career!” Deshpande captioned the video.
