These five ‘bhajans’ inspired by bollywood songs are absolutely funny

From "Munni Badnam hui" to "Sheela ki Jawani," many item songs have inspired new age lyricists to pen down devotional song.

There were times when Narendra Chanchal’s “Mata ki bhet”, Anup Jalota’s “Krishna bhajans” and Kumar Vishu’s “chaupaiyas”  were hit among the masses. But over the period of time, they have been replaced by devotional songs tuned on popular Bollywood songs. From “Munni Badnam hui” to “Sheela ki Jawani”; many item songs have inspired new age lyricists to pen down devotional song. But are these songs as appealing as the old bhajans used to?
