Sreesanth called Kerala a city, and got a Geography lesson plus trolling

From swinging balls in his heyday, seems like former cricketer S Sreesanth is facing some trouble trying to swing some votes in his favour.

We’ve all been told that once you say something, it can’t be taken back. So, think before speaking. If only Twitter worked that way at all times. We’d probably miss out on a lot of hilarious moments.

Take former cricketer S Sreesanth, who is now a BJP candidate from Thiruvananthapuram, for instance. A little past midnight, he took to Twitter to share his thoughts on his vision for the city, oops… state! He tweeted: “The change is must in Kerala Nd Iam sure It will happen this time..we can be worlds best city if we all work together.”

Now, anyone worth his marks in a geography paper would know the difference between a city and state, but no worries. The noble citizens of Twitterdom can always be trusted to set people on the right course.

Here’s what they had to say.

And then he went ahead a did the unthinkable on social media — ‘blocking a potential voter’.

He did try to clarify later, but the damage was already done.
