The desperate desire to become famous on social media has caused several “content creators” to face problems. In a recent incident, a video showing a man overfilling an SUV’s diesel tank at a fuel station in Rajasthan for a reel video has sparked outrage, raising safety concerns.

The viral clip shows a man at a fuel station overfilling his vehicle’s diesel tank. He then makes a victory hand gesture and twirls his moustache. As the video continues, the man can be seen hanging out of the sunroof of the moving vehicle. Towards the end of the video, he is shown drinking a beverage with his companion.

Sharing the video on X, journalist Nishant Sharma tagged Rajasthan Police and wrote, “Watch the antics of the rich kid to make a reel… wasted diesel, a big accident could have happened, @PoliceRajasthan should take cognizance of the viral video and take strict action.”

After the video caught the internet’s attention, Ajmer Police responded to it saying, “Sir, the concerned officer has been informed about the above matter.”

Shared on July 1, the video amassed over 2,29,000 views as several social media users lashed out at the man for risking lives. Reacting to it, a user wrote, “This is an invitation to major accidents. Their vehicles should be confiscated and they should be imprisoned with heavy fines.” Another user commented, “Action should be taken against the petrol pump as well as against these two boys.”

“For reels, they will prove themselves to be an ass. Take action,” a third user reacted.

On Monday, a video showing a boy attempting a dangerous stunt by jumping into a waterfall during strong currents circulated on social media. The boy, identified as Swapnit Davde, unfortunately died, and his body was found after a three-day search. According to reports, the incident occurred at Tamini Ghat in Maharashtra.
