With their expressive faces and curious behaviour, monkeys often captivate human attention, especially when they engage in surprising antics. Whether it is sneaking food or mimicking human actions, they never fail to amuse the internet. Now a monkey has won the hearts of netizens with an unexpected feat — flying a kite.
A video of the incident, shared on X by a user named Rosy (@rose_k01), has already garnered nearly 4 lakh views. In the clip, the monkey sits on a rooftop – reportedly in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh – gripping the kite’s thread or “manjha”, and appears to fly it with surprising dexterity.
The clip shows the primate tugging at the string with its forelimbs, skilfully pulling the kite closer. As the kite drifts toward the terrace, the monkey seizes it, leaving onlookers astonished. The moment is accompanied by the excited shouts of people nearby, who seem equally entertained and amazed by the spectacle.
