Manu Bhaker, 22, became an overnight sensation with her remarkable performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Bhaker clinched two bronze medals at the Games, one for 10m women’s air pistol and another for 10m air pistol mixed team, along with Sarabjot Singh.
In a heartfelt post on X, Bhaker reflected on her journey thus far, observing that small steps are the way to greatness. “I was 14 when I started my journey in shooting. Never had I imagined I would reach this far. Once you start something, make sure you do everything possible to chase your dreams relentlessly, no matter how tough it gets,” she wrote.
“Stay focused, stay driven, and let your passion fuel your journey. Every small step forward brings you closer to greatness. Keep going, you’re capable of much more than you imagine! And, yes, my dream of winning Olympic gold medals continues,” Bhaker wrote in the post.

Speaking at the Express Adda recently, Bhaker opened up about her inhibitions after the Tokyo Olympics. “I had hardships also after that. I was really doubting my choices. I was actually thinking of opting for a different career path. But destiny is something,” she said.
