India has captivated several foreign travellers with its diverse culture and a variety of food. While many explore the luxury hotels and resorts of India, a European vlogger, Matt Shoe, is winning hearts as he enjoys a humble school lunch at a boarding school in Kurukshetra, Haryana.

In the now-viral video, the vlogger joins teachers in the dining hall of the boarding school, where students served him a vegetarian meal consisting of paneer and rice. The video begins with him entering the dining hall and sharing a glimpse of the kitchen, where a group of cooks prepare chapatis. He sits cross-legged on the floor and waits for the meal to be served. “These students are serving food!” the vlogger exclaims. Responding to it, a teacher sitting next to him explains, “It is their duty to serve food.”

He then goes on to pray before starting, finishes his lunch, picks up his plate and keeps it at the designated washing spot, and thanks the students before leaving. “Indian lunch,” he captions the video.
