Business tycoon Anand Mahindra is an ardent X user and keeps his followers engaged sharing different motivational videos. From hailing a truck driver earning lakhs from YouTube to praising global sensation Hanumankind, Mahindra’s shoutouts are highly anticipated by his followers. On Sunday, he dedicated a post to a woman’s soul-soothing singing.

The woman has been identified as Keerthana Vijayy, popular for her cover song videos on Instagram. She enjoys 6,19,000 followers on the platform. In the now-viral clip, Vijayy can be seen singing the popular Tamil Song Kannodu Kanbathellam from Jeans—which starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Prashanth.

Originally crooned by Nithyasree Mahadev, Kannodu Kanbathelllam has been penned by lyricist Vairamuthu and composed by AR Rahman.

“Wonderful. Your music has a rare quality….It’s called ‘Soul’. Thank you for making my Sunday,” Mahindra wrote on X.

The video quickly gained traction, winning plaudits from social media users. “Beautiful voice. Thank you for bringing it our attention,” a user wrote. “The voice is fantastic, the notes are superb,” another user commented.

“Indeed, this song is truly beautiful and remarkable! I was mesmerized listening to it. If you were compared to the goddess of melodies, Lata Mangeshkar, it would still be an understatement. The magic in your voice touches every heart. Thank you so much for this wonderful music!” a third user said.

Earlier, Anand Mahindra dedicated a post to a Chennai-based PhD scholar who runs a food cart on the streets. The viral video came to light last month when an American vlogger spotted the youth selling Chicken 65 on the streets and further asked the foreigner to google his research papers.
