It’s often believed that celebrities are born with a silver spoon but they too have their share of predicaments. TV star Karan Wahi—popular for Dill Mill Gaye—recently shared a horrifying incident wherein he was harassed by a biker on Mumbai streets. The video of the same has emerged on social media and has left his fans in shock.
The viral video shows the accused man on a scooter who points out at Wahi, hits his car doors, and uses expletives. The actor points out the man and can be heard saying, “This man keeps telling me that I am wrong when he has hit my car. Mumbai Police, please help; he is not ready to back down. People who are there, please help me.”
He further says, “Yeh admi mere piche pada hai. Gaaliyan jitni tune di hai na. Beta rukk, abhi tere paas police aayegi.”

The video triggered a massive reaction on social media. Sharing his plight, one user commented, “I also suffered exactly the same issue last Saturday night near sion, suddenly a man on a bike started hitting my car and hurling abuses…He was taking our pictures. After 10 minutes of chase and harassment, when my wife tried to dial 100, and he saw that , he vanished ….” Another user wrote, “Jitna Maine Reality shows,etc. dekha hai I think Karan Wahi kharab insaan toh nhi h, possibly woh scooty wala jaanbujh ke pange le rha hoga.”
“Who’s @ fault here? What was the conclusion? Also, did the car driver have dashcam, that would’ve instantly solved the issue,” the third user wondered.
Following the incident, Karan Wahi took to his Instagram handle and revealed details of the incident. He wrote, “The long story short. I took a right cut on the road cause there was a car ahead of me. This guy abused me and said CUT kaise mara and he started ranting ki tere jaise do kaudi ke TV actors bauhat dekhe hai.”
“I took his scooter’s key and gave it back and left the scene. Then he chased me till I stopped at a cop station. Abusing me and telling me that he has a connection with the police and he will make sure that I pay,” he added.
In another Instagram story, Wahi thanked Mumbai Police and wrote, “I am safe, I am home. Have spoken to the cops. Hopefully this will get resolved. Thanku @mumbaipolice.”
