Mani Amma, 72, from Kerala, recently caught the Internet’s attention after a video of her confidently driving a Rolls-Royce Ghost in Dubai went viral. Dressed gracefully in a traditional saree, Mani Amma’s poise and composure behind the wheel are winning plaudits.
Fondly known as “The Driver Amma,” Mani Amma holds driving licenses for 11 different types of vehicles, ranging from cars and trucks to forklifts and cranes. She also runs a driving school in Kerala, where she trains aspiring drivers and shares her extensive knowledge.
In a recent video that took social media by storm, Mani Amma is seen showing her international driving permit before navigating the luxurious Rolls-Royce through Dubai’s traffic with striking confidence and ease.
Sharing the video, her official handle wrote, “International Driving Permit (IDP) is a legal requirement to drive in many foreign countries, and it is a United Nations-controlled travel document for your convenience and safety.”
