Yes, there is a Twitterati segment that woke up on the next morning of the Paris attack to think something had happened to their favourite celebrity.

Since the horrific event of the Paris attack on November 13, the hashtag #PrayForParis has been trending on Twitter, with most people expressing solidarity with the victims and promising help. But amid this sense of loss, there was a segment — not a large one, mind you — that was expressing their solidarity, but to a different Paris. This one was Paris Hilton.

Yes, there is a Twitterati segment that woke up on the next morning to find the hashtag trending on Twitter, and assuming that they were in reference to celebrity Paris Hilton, who has a massive following among the youth in the US, as well as the rest of the world.
