A new report by aviation analytics firm OAG has ranked the most connected airports in the world for 2025, based on the highest ratio of scheduled international connections to the number of destinations served.
For the third consecutive year, London Heathrow (LHR) tops the list, offering more than 59,000 potential connections to 226 destinations on its busiest day.
Meanwhile, New York’s JFK Airport, a major US international hub, connects to 208 destinations worldwide, ranking 14th globally–slipping from 6th rank in 2024.
