OnePlus no longer sells smart TVs in India, and the company has delisted the smart TVs from the official website. While one can still buy a OnePlus smart TV from platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, the company has ceased smart TV operations from the official website.
We have reached out to OnePlus India and are waiting to hear back about pulling out of the TV market.
While OnePlus’s smart TV catalogue can still be accessed from the main website, clicking on the buy now button will redirect to an empty page that says “404: This page is unavailable.”
Back in October 2023, several reports indicated that OnePlus had decided to discontinue the smart TV segment and cease manufacturing. Not just OnePlus, even Realme has stopped selling smart TVs in India, and the same has been removed from the official website.
OnePlus used to offer an extensive range of smart TVs, starting from 32-inch entry-level models with HD Ready resolution to 65-inch 4K smart TVs, powered by Android TV OS. The company used to offer the Y, U, and Q series of smart TVs in India. With Y meant for entry-level and budget products, U meant for mid-tier smart TVs and the Q series for high-end flagship products.
Both OnePlus and Realme are likely to honour after-sale support for the products sold in the post as per the terms of service. According to listings on Flipkart and Amazon, OnePlus products are still listed to offer a year warranty on the product and the panel. However, for anyone looking for a new smart TV, we do not recommend buying a new smart TV from either OnePlus or Realme.
