On Monday, ahead of Pride Month in June, Apple introduced a new set of 2025 Pride-themed wallpapers for iPhone and iPad, along with a sports band and watch face for Apple Watch, that “celebrate the strength and beauty of LGBTQ+ communities around the world.” The sports band is available for purchase starting today, while the new wallpapers will be released with an upcoming software update.
Priced at Rs 4,500, the 2025 Pride-themed Apple Watch sports band will be available in 40mm, 42mm, and 46mm sizes, in both S/M and M/L lengths, and is compatible with most Apple Watches and is available for purchase. Users can download the matching Pride Harmony watch face for free via the Apple Watch app via the Apple Store app.
The wallpaper includes rainbow stripes—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple—that represent the original Pride flag, along with black and brown stripes representing marginalized LGBTQ+ communities of colour and those lost to HIV/AIDS. It also features pink, light blue, and white stripes, which represent the transgender community. The arrow-like shape signifies inclusive forward movement and progress.
The new 2025 Pride-themed sports band offers a “tapestry of rainbow stripes that vary in shape and size.” Each band is assembled by hand and then compression-moulded together, meaning no two bands are exactly alike—a reflection of the individuality of all members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Eligible iPhone and iPad users will need to wait for the iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5 updates to access the new Pride Harmony wallpaper. Anyone, even those who have an Android smartphone or tablet, can download Apple’s 2025 Pride wallaper in high-resolution for free from Apple.com.
Apple first introduced the Pride-themed watch band in 2016, initially limited to Apple employees. In 2017, the bands were made publicly available. Apple embraces the LGBTQ+ community and also financially supports organisations that serve LGBTQ+ individuals.
