Jet Airways, Twitter come together to offer passengers real-time flight details

To avail the service, a user has to follow the @jetairways Twitter account and then tweet to them using the #JetInstant hashtag. To know the status of your flight, you have to tweet to @jetairways and type fltstatus with <Flight Number&gt; and <Flight Dep Date in DDMM>. For low-cost flights on the airline, you have to tweet with the originating and destination city airport codes. Soon, you will get a direct message from the @jetairways account, giving you the best fares between the two cities.

The airline has worked with @TravelSpends, its technology partner to launch this service on Twitter.
