SanDisk, on Monday, September 29, launched its new Creator Series in India. The new line of products are essentially professional-grade storage solutions developed to meet the needs of content creators today. The new series includes high-performance microSD and SD cards, ultra-fast USB-C flash drives, MagSafe-compatible SSDs for iPhones, and versatile Phone Drives. With the new array of products, SanDisk is positioning itself as an essential technology partner in India that has a robust creator ecosystem.
According to the company, the new series is aimed at tackling challenges faced by digital creators juggling multiple devices and formats. “Today’s creators often juggle multiple devices and formats, which can be a challenge. The SanDisk Creator Series is designed to help creators elevate their workflow, unleash their creativity, and keep up with their always-on lifestyle,” said Subind Kumar, country manager and vice-president, SanDisk India.
The SanDisk Creator Phone SSD, a MagSafe-compatible portable drive tailor-made for iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max and iPhone 16 users, is the main attraction in the series. The SSD supports Apple ProRes 4K recording at 60 fps, allowing creators to save high-resolution video directly to the drive for faster editing. It comes with up to 2TB of storage, a rugged silicone casing, three-metre drop protection, and IP65 water and dust resistance. The device is priced from Rs 10,999 and is currently available on Amazon and Flipkart.
On the other hand, the SanDisk Creator microSD UHS-I card brings enhanced performance to smartphones, drones, and action cameras. With storage options up to 1TB, read speeds of up to 190MB/s, and durability against temperature, water, and drops, the card allows creators to focus on their craft rather than limitations. It starts at Rs 1,809.
Meanwhile, for professional photographers and videographers, the company has introduced the SanDisk Creator SD UHS-II Card. It delivers transfer speeds up to 280MB/s and capacities up to 1TB, supporting 6K video capture and large RAW workflows. Bundled with RescuePRO Deluxe software for data recovery, it starts at Rs 4,999.
The SanDisk Creator USB-C Flash Drive, designed with a sleek lifestyle aesthetic, offers transfer speeds of up to 400MB/s and capacities of up to 1TB. It is compatible with the latest smartphones, tablets, and PCs, and its price starts from Rs 2,029.
Finally, the SanDisk Creator Phone Drive provides multi-device flexibility with dual Lightning and USB-C connectors, supporting seamless transfers across iPhones, iPads, Macs, Android devices, and PCs. With up to 256GB of storage and a stylish, durable design, the drive starts at Rs 4,899.
Each product in the Creator Series comes with complimentary Adobe software trials, either three months of Lightroom or one month of Creative Cloud. This highlights SanDisk’s attempt to position the lineup as a holistic creative toolkit rather than just storage hardware.
