Sony India has announced the launch of the Xperia Z1 Compact, bringing the best of its flagship mobile technologies in a compact 4.3-inch form.
The phone boasts of the “best camera” in this size with a 20.7 megapixel 1/2.3-type CMOS image sensor Exmor RS for mobile. This is combined with G Lens and intelligent BIONZ for mobile image processing engine. The 4.3-inch TRILUMINOS HD Display for mobile with X-Reality can make the pictures look even better if our earlier encounters with these technologies are anything to go by.
The camera will also have other features like time shift burst with 61 frames in just two seconds, info-eye visual search, social live and augmented reality extensions.
Xperia Z1 Compact, which weighs 137 grams, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2.2 GHz quad-core CPU, a 2300
mAh. The device runs on Google Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean).Consumers will also get access to Sony Music and Sony LIV video streaming.
Priced at Rs 36,990, the phone will be available from next week.
