Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), world’s first quad camera phone, has been launched in India. The phone has four cameras at the back, which is also the highlight of the device. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) price in India is Rs 36,990 for the base storage model with 6GB RAM, while 8GB RAM model will cost Rs 39,990. The storage on both the variants is 128GB. The phone will be up for pre-order from November 28 for pre-booking across Samsung and other offline outlets as well as online on Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung Shop, Paytm Mall and Airtel online Store. People who buy the phone using HDFC credit or debit card can avail Rs 3,000 cashback.

Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) gets four vertically stacked cameras at the back, a combination of 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide lens with f/2.4 aperture, 10MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture and 2x optical zoom, 24MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture and 5MP depth camera with f/2.2 aperture and live focus. The front camera is 24MP with f/2.0 aperture.

The phone gets a 6.3-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with screen aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 6GB/8GB RAM with 128GB storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is backed by a 3,800mAh battery with support for fast charging technology. It uses a USB Type-C port for charging. The phone runs Samsung Experience 9.0, which is based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
