After launching the Meizu m5 and Meizu Pro 6s earlier this month, the company might already be prepared to unveil the m5 Note soon in China. According to the invites sent out by Meizu, the company will be launching a new device at special event on November 30. The invite carries a ‘Make Helio Great Again’ tagline, and rumours suggest that it will be the m5 Note.
There has been no official word on which device Meizu will be launching, the only hint we have is that the phone will be powered by a Helio chipset; the same chipset that the m5 Note was spotted running on in earlier benchmarks.
Meizu m5 Note scored a 686 is single-core performance on Geekbench 4, and 2476 in multi-core score. The benchmark showed the phone to be running on an octa-core Mediatek MT6755M Helio P10 processor with Android 6.0 as the operating system.
The Antutu benchmark of the device shows the phone to have a Mali-T860 GPU along with the Helio 10 processor, and a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels resolution) display. The phone is running on 3GB RAM along with 32GB of storage. It features a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP selfie shooter.
According to Playfuldroid, the term ‘Make Helio Great Again’ comes as a playful dig at US president-elect Donald Trump’s go to line ‘Make America Great Again’.

Meizu’s m5 with VoLTE support was launched in China earlier this month featuring 2GB/3GB RAM with 16GB/32GB ROM at 699 Yuan (Rs 6,800 approx) and 899 Yuan (Rs 8,800 approx) respectively. The phone is a successor to the company’s M3, and features a 5.2-inch HD display (1280 x 720 pixels resolution).
