Lenovo has launched its latest 4G smartphone, the A7000, in India at Rs 8,999. Registrations for the first flash sale on April 15 will open at 2 pm on Tuesday.
The phone, the successor to the successful A6000, has a larger a 5.5-inch 720p HD display. It will also be the first mobile device to feature Dolby’s stunning Atmos technology.
Unlike the A6000, this phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6752m processor and not Qualcomm. This means the pho ne has one of the best benchmark scores in a phone of this price range.
The smartphone runs on Android Lollipop OS with Vibe UI. It has a Mali-T760MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM and 8GB ROM which is expandable up to 32GB.
It comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front camera. On the connectivity front, the device sports dual SIM card slots and supports 4G connectivity.
