Whether you are a social media influencer or someone who takes a lot of selfies, having a smartphone with a decent selfie shooter is more important than ever. Apart from making reels and taking selfies, a good front camera can also come in handy to take video calls on the go and use it as a webcam for your PC. If you are looking for a phone with good selfie cameras, from budget to premium, here are some of the best Android phones you can buy right now.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus

The newly launched Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, a faster version of the Nothing Phone (2a) boasts a 50MP front camera that can record videos in 4K, making it one of the cheapest mid-range devices to have a good selfie shooter. Featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset, which the company claims is 10 per cent faster than the Dimensity 7200 Pro, the phone looks and feels similar to the Nothing Phone (2a).

It has a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and has IP54 water and dust resistance. On the back, you get a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP ultrawide sensor that is accompanied by a 50MP selfie shooter that can record videos in 4K at 30fps.

The phone comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 50W fast charging. It runs on Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14 out of the box with Nothing promising three OS updates and 4 years of security patches. It will go on sale from August 7 and starts from Rs 27,999, but with bank offers, you will be able to purchase it for Rs 25,999.

Samsung Galaxy F55/Galaxy M55

Looking for a lightweight phone with a good selfie camera?  The Galaxy M55 or Galaxy F55 (review) might cater to you. Both devices have the same specs and cost almost the same, but the main difference lies in the back panel. While the Galaxy M55 has a shiny plastic back, the Galaxy F55 has a premium faux leather finish that offers good grip.

Both devices are powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and have a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen that can go up to 1,000 nits. These phones run on One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 out of the box and come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

On the front, you get a 50MP selfie camera while the rear packs a 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP macro sensor. While the Galaxy F55 is available on Flipkart from Rs 24,999, the Galaxy M55 can be purchased from Rs 23,949.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro

Want a slim and durable phone that is light on your wallet and in your pocket? Check out the Motorola Edge 50 Pro (review). Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the phone features a 6.7-inch 144Hz P-OLED screen and comes with an aluminium frame and faux leather back.

The device runs on Android 14 out of the box and has a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP primary sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 13MP ultrawide lens. On the front, you get a 50MP selfie camera that is good for taking selfies and video calls.

Powered by a 4,500mAh battery, the phone supports 125W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. The base variant of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage can be purchased for as low as Rs 30,560 whereas the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant starts from Rs 34,480.

Tecno Camon 30 Premier

Launched earlier this year in June, the Tecno Camon 30 Premier (review) is a mid-range phone with an all-50MP camera setup. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset with a 6.77-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED screen, the phone has a peak brightness of 1,400 nits and offers Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

It runs on HIOS 14 based on Android 14 with the back of the phone housing a 50MP main camera in addition to a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and 50MP ultrawide shooter. On the front, you get a 50MP selfie shooter that takes really good photos and can record videos in 4K at 30fps.

The phone comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and can be purchased for Rs 39,999, but Amazon is offering Rs 1,750 discounts on select bank cards.

Honor 200 Pro

The latest from Honor – the Honor 200 Pro (review) not only packs a snappy Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset but also packs a dual front camera setup, something not usually seen on phones in this price segment.

It has a 6.78 120Hz OLED screen which the company claims has a peak brightness of 4,000 nits and runs on MagicOS 8 based on Android 14 out of the box. On the back, you get a 50MP primary sensor alongside a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom and another 12MP ultrawide shooter.

The Honor 200 features a 50MP selfie shooter and a 2MP depth shooter, which can help capture natural-looking selfies. If you are looking for a camera phone that boasts excellent cameras on both front and back, the Honor 200 Pro is a good choice.

It is available in only one configuration – 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and can be purchased for Rs 57,998, but with Rs 3,000 off with bank offers and the Rs 5,000 discount coupon, you can bring the price down to Rs 49,998. If your budget is around Rs 35,000, check out the Honor 200, which comes with a slower chipset but has the same rear camera setup and the 50MP selfie shooter as the Pro variant.

Xiaomi 14 Civi

The recently launched Xiaomi Civi 14 may not be the fastest or the best camera phone in its price segment, but it does pack a unique front camera setup. Featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, the phone has a 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

It runs on HyperOS based on Android 14 and comes with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The back of the phone packs a 50MP primary shooter, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a 12MP ultrawide shooter. On the front, you get two 32MP cameras, one of which is an ultrawide shooter while the other one has autofocus.

The 8GB RAM and 245GB storage version of the Xiaomi 14 Civi costs Rs 42,999, but if you can spend a bit more, we recommend going with the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage version that costs Rs 5,000 more.
