Jio is gearing up to celebrate its ninth anniversary on September 5. And, the telecom giant has marked the occasion with a major milestone of attaining 500 million users across India. As part of its celebrations, Jio is introducing an array of offers designed to enhance the digital experiences of its users.
The company is offering a limited-period Rs 349, ‘Celebration Plan’ that combines unlimited 5G data, subscriptions to JioHotstar, JioSaavn, Zomato Gold, digital gold rewards, and more. This month-long offer is a part of Jio’s thank-you campaign as it crosses the historic milestone.

From making voice calls free to democratising video streaming and digital payments, Jio has emerged as a significant name in shaping India’s digital public infrastructure — supporting services like Aadhaar, UPI, Jan Dhan, and DBT. .
To mark its 9th anniversary and thank its user base, Jio has rolled out a series of offers across a weekend, a month, and a full year:

Jio has also announced a Rs 1,200 JioHome anniversary plan that includes a two-month subscription to over 1000 live TV channels, 30 Mbps unlimited broadband, and access to over 12 OTT apps, alongside Amazon Prime Lite and Jio Gold benefits.
When it comes to its achievements, Jio has made voice calls free across India, it has enabled 500 million Indians to watch videos, and make digital payments through their smartphones. The telecom giant has also been instrumental in supporting the world’s third-largest startup ecosystem and over 100 unicorns. Reportedly, Jio’s nationwide 5G rollout has been the fastest in the world.
