Apple crushes expectations with $100B+ quarter, iPhone sales surge

Apple posted its highest-ever quarterly revenue and profit after a $100 iPhone price hike and redesign drove a 6 per cent jump in iPhone sales. The company earned $102.5 billion in revenue and $27.5 billion in profit, easily beating Wall Street estimates.
