IPL Points Table 2023, Playoff scenario, Team Rankings, Most Runs, Most Wickets: Gujarat Titans swatted aside Mumbai Indians on Friday and set up an Indian Premier League final against Chennai Super Kings.
The final is on Sunday, when Gujarat will aim to retain the title at its Narendra Modi Stadium fortress and Chennai will try to equal Mumbai’s record five titles.
Shubman Gill smashed a third masterful IPL century and fast bowler Mohit Sharma took 5-10 for Gujarat to win by 62 runs with 10 balls to spare.
Gujarat made 233-3 after opener Gill clobbered 10 sixes and seven fours in a breathtaking 129 off 60 balls. Mumbai was all out for 171 after Mohit Sharma took four wickets in nine balls, and finished the game with his fifth.

Gujarat Titans opener Shubman Gill is leading the run chart with 851 runs, including three centuries. RCB skipper Faf du Plessis is second on the list with 730 runs. RCB’s Virat Kohli is now third with 639 runs. Rajasthan Royal’s Yashasvi Jaiswal is at fourth place with 625 runs. CSK’s Devon Conway is fifth place with also 625 runs.

Gujarat Titans’ Mohammed Shami and his teammate leg-spinner Rashid Khan’s are in first and second position in the leading wicket-taker list with 28 and 27 scalps, respectively. The duo are followed by Mohit Sharma, who is in third place with 24 wickets. Mumbai Indians leg-spinner Piyush Chawla finished the season with 22 wickets. Rajasthan Royals Yuzvendra Chahal is at fifth place with 21 wickets.
