Former India captain and coach Rahul Dravid was involved in a minor accident with a goods auto in Bengaluru on Tuesday evening. In a video seemingly captured by a passerby, a displeased Dravid was filmed arguing with the driver in Kannada. Both parties appeared to be unhurt in the video.
As per IANS, the accident took place on Cunningham Road when the auto driver allegedly rammed into his car from behind while it was stuck in traffic. Dravid is believed to be driving towards High Ground from the Indian Express circle.

In the video, a visibly upset Dravid — known for being calm — was seen engaged in an altercation with the driver as he stepped out of his car to assess the damage done. It was further reported that Dravid took down the driver’s contact number before leaving the scene. There was no official complaint and according to police sources cited by Deccan Herald, the issue ‘might have been resolved on-site.’
Dravid is spending some time at home in Bengaluru before resuming the Indian Premier League duties as the coach of Rajasthan Royals.
While the issue appeared to be resolved, it became a meme-fest on the internet, with many users referring to a credit company ad where Dravid refers to himself as ‘Indiranagar ka gunda’.
