The group stage of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 ended on January 5, Sunday, with 10 teams qualifying for the knockout stages.
The top six teams directly advanced to the quarter-finals, and teams from seventh position to 10th position will battle it out in the pre-quarterfinals. The two teams that win the pre-quarterfinals will then join the top six in the quarter-finals.

After several matches went down the wire, heaps of runs put up on the board and multiple records broken, the top 10 teams were only confirmed after the final set of games on Sunday.
Gujarat, Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Karnataka, Baroda qualified to the quarter-finals by virture of finishing on top of their respective groups. Punjab, the best-ranked second-placed team from the five groups also earned a berth in the quarterfinals. Haryana, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Bengal marked their places in the pre-quarterfinals that are slated to begin on January 9.
All knockout matches of the tournament will be held in Vadodara.

2. Vidarbha – 24 points (+1.99) – Group D topper
3. Maharashtra – 24 points (+1.75) – Group B topper
4. Karnataka – 24 points (+1.37) – Group C topper
5. Baroda – 20 points – Group E topper
6. Punjab – 24 points (+2.167) – 2nd place in Group C
7. Haryana – 24 points (0.726) – 2nd place in Group A
8. Rajasthan – 20 points – 2nd place in Group B
9. Tamil Nadu – 18 points – 2nd place in Group D
10. Bengal – 18 points – 2nd place in Group E
