The 2018 edition of ICC Women’s World Cup is set to begin from Friday, November 9, 2018, with India Women’s team taking on New Zealand’s Women’s team in the first Group B match at Providence Stadium in Guyana. The tournament will see 10 teams competing with each other in order to win the prestigious trophy. The teams have been divided into two groups of five teams each.
In Group A, there are Sri Lanka Women, South Africa Women, Bangladesh Women, West Indies Women and England Women. In Group B, India are placed along with Ireland Women, Australia Women, New Zealand Women and Pakistan Women.
Two teams from each group will reach the semifinal stages, from which two teams will enter the final. The final of ICC Women’s World T20 will take place on Saturday, November 24, 2018.
