MS Dhoni, who started his career under Sourav Ganguly’s leadership in 2004 shared a cosy picture with his former India captain on the occasion of the later’s 43rd birthday on Wednesday.
Dhoni played his first international game against Bangladesh under Ganguly.
Years later, captaincy went from Ganguly to Rahul Dravid to Anil Kumble to MS Dhoni. Interestingly, Ganguly ended his career when Dhoni was in charge of the Test unit. As a fitting gesture, Dhoni asked Ganguly to lead the side for a short duration during the Nagpur Test against Australia in November 2008.
