Maharashtra: 5 Sena MLAs suspended for one year

The MLAs were suspended for one year for their disorderly behaviour in the House.

The Maharashtra Legislative Assembly today suspended four more Shiv Sena members for one year for their disorderly behaviour in the House.

Among those suspended are Sanjay Rathod (Digras),Ashish Jaiswal (Ramtekl),Abhijeet Adsul (Daryapur),Sharad Patil (Dhule Rural) and Ravindra Waikar (Jogeshwari-East).

Rathod was yesterday suspended till the ongoing Winter Session of the Assembly.

Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Harshwardhan Patil moved a resolution for their suspension in the House which was adopted by voice vote. The resolution was passed amidst din in the House.

All the five suspended members will miss the ongoing session here,the next Budget session and the Autumn session of State Legislature,both in Mumbai.
