Slamming the UPA government for its alleged injustice to states ruled by BJP or its alliance, senior BJP leader S K Modi on Friday said the partys two-day national executive meeting in Bihar from tomorrow would decry the Centres discriminatory move against such states.
The Centre is doing gross injustice to the states ruled by BJP – Gujarat,Madhya Pradesh,Karnataka,Chhatisgarh,Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh – besides Punjab where the party is in alliance with Prakash Singh Badal and NDA-ruled Bihar,Modi, also the Deputy Chief Minister told reporters on the eve of the executive committee meeting.
He said the executive committee meeting called in election-bound Bihar for the first-time would adopt a resolution criticising the Centre on the issue,on development and financial fronts.
Stating that the executive committee meeting would send out a message to people about programmes and policies of the BJP,Modi said 2010 would prove to be a year for the people of the state to build up Bihar.
Asserting that the alliance between the JD(U) and BJP was a synonym for development,Modi said time had now come for the people to decide whether they wanted an alliance of development or of destruction. Modi reminded people of the state of the devastation during the rule of Lalu-Rabri duo and during the role of Congress and said any mistake of people in voting would pave the way for return of jungle raj.
