At least 16 persons were killed after a vehicle in which they were travelling fell into a gorge near Kaladhungi on Ramnagar-Nainital highway in Nainital district on Sunday evening. According to reports,25 persons have received injuries and have been admitted to ST Hospital,Haldwani. The vehicle was carrying about 50 persons at the time of the accident. The victims had come from Amroha district of UP to attend a marriage ceremony in Nainital.
