Heli taxi service launched to promote state tourism

Haldwani, Jan 19 (ANI): A heli taxi service has been launched in Uttarakhand to promote regional tourism across the state. The taxi service was started in Haldwani city of Uttarakhand. Besides, the lake view and snowfall, now visitors can also enjoy the Himalayan view through air ride. The heli taxi service was earlier launched in the state in December but the route had no connectivity to the beautiful panoramic city of Munsiyari. The initial take off of the heli taxi included five passengers. State officials came together to start the taxi service successfully.

North India shivers under cold wave

Local residents and workers in Haldwani were seen gathered around bonfires on Saturday to find respite from bone chilling cold waves.The picture was no different in Bhopal where cold wave with dense fog affected normal life in of the most parts.
