Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi Tuesday dared Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to “stop” Narendra Modi just as her husband and former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad had stopped L K Advani who was on a yatra to build up Ayodhya movement.

She also accused the Janata Dal (United) of hatching a conspiracy to send her husband to prison.

Rabri Devi said Lalu Prasad’s conviction and subsequent disqualification as member of Parliament was part of “larger conspiracy”.

Though She did not name any political party, she said the RJD had been in “direct competition with the BJP and the JD(U) did not stand any chance in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections”.

“Laluji had shot into national limelight by arresting L K Advani during the peak of Ayodhya movement and had become champion of minorities. Can

Nitish Kumar now dare to stop Narendra Modi, who is to address a rally at Patna on October 27?” she said, adding that “Advani and Modi were the same side of a coin”.

She added Lalu Prasad’s conviction and disqualification as MP would not affect RJD. “He is RJD chief and will remain a hero for the downtrodden as ever,” she said.
