‘Nothing wrong in BIADA allotments’

Reacting to the BIADA land allotment row for the first time,Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Reacting to the BIADA (Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority) land allotment row for the first time,Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said his government had not found “any anomaly” in the allotment process, but other democratic institutions were free to look into it.

Recently, two PILs were filed in the Patna High Court, demanding a CBI probe into the allotment.

Asked why the government could not hand over the probe to the CBI,Kumar said: “I do not deem it fit. Some people are out to make mountains out of molehills. I cannot stop them. But they should remember that they are vitiating investment-friendly atmosphere of Bihar.”
