Mahindra Satyam Q4 PAT at Rs 534 crore

Software-service company Mahindra Satyam on Thursday posted profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 534 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2012,against a loss of Rs 326.9 crore,a year ago.

The Hyderabad-based IT firm’s income from operations for the quarter stood at Rs 1,666 crore compared with Rs 1,375 crore,up 21% year-on-year.

For the full year,the company recorded profit of Rs 1297.6 crore against a loss of Rs 143.96 crore during the same period last year. While income from operations for FY12 stood at Rs 6395.5 crore against Rs 5145.06 crore a year ago.
