Private steel manufacturer JSW Steel said its net profit for the second quarter this fiscal has fallen by 1.35 per cent at Rs 445.44 crore.
In the July-September quarter of previous year,the company had posted a net profit of Rs 451.54 crore.
According to a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange,the company’s total income has increased to Rs 5,939.28 crore in the second quarter from Rs 4,579.28 crore in the same period last year.
Shares of the company settled at Rs 1,225.45,down 0.96 per cent from previous close on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
