CMO case: Lucknow jail officials transferred

Two officials of Lucknow jail,where Y S Sachan died under mysterious circumstances,have been transferred.

Two senior officials of Lucknow district jail,where Deputy Chief Medical Officer Y S Sachan died under mysterious circumstances,have been transferred. Jailor B S Mukund has been transferred to Mainpuri whereas senior prison superintendent S H M Rizvi has been shifted to Basti,said Deputy Inspector General Prisons (Lucknow) Sharad.

Sachan,arrested in connection with the NRHM scam in April,was found dead inside the toilet of the Lucknow district jail hospital on June 22. A murder case was later registered in the matter.
