CHENNAI, June 26: A 55-year-old transport owner was kidnapped by a car-borne gang while he was having tea at a shop is Royapuram on Friday morning. Police said the kidnappers have demanded Rs 30 lakh as ranson for the release of the transport owner, Balaraman. Balaraman is said to be a resident of East Mada Koil street, Royapuram.
