A team of journalists met Union Minister of State for Home I.D. Swami on Friday in connection with the arrest of the journalist son-in-law of Hurriyat leader Ahmed Shah Geelani, Iftikhar Geelani, and demanded an open and fair probe into the case.
The journalists submitted a signed petition to the Minister demanding transparency in investigations.
