Expelled LTTE commander Karuna today formally launched a political party called Tamileela Makkal Viduthalai Pulikal.
A statement issued by G E Gnanaraja, described as secretary of the outfit, has said that the party was being launched under the presidentship of Vinayagamurthy Muralidharan alias Karuna Amman.
Significantly, even while rededicating itself to the Tamil ‘‘liberation struggle,’’ the new party seemed to project LTTE supremo Velupillai Prabhakaran as a greater enemy.
