CHANDIGARH, January 7: The expelled employees of Haryana State Electricity Board organised a huge rally here today seeking reinstatement to their posts. The rally which took off from 30-Bays building in Sector 17, culminated at Shakti Bhawan, Panchkula. They presented the memorandum to the Chief Minister, Bansi Lal.

Criticising the present Haryana government, the convener of the rally, Dharam Singh Kaushik rued that even though their hunger strike has entered its 27th day, the Haryana government hasn’t initiated any move to hold talks with the agitating employees.

Addressing the protesting employees, Ram Bir Kaushik alleged that the selection committee had deliberately done injustice to the employees while framing the selection procedures for their appointments. He demanded that the CBI inquiry be initiated in this regard and the guilty punished.
