NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 28: The three-day Garden Festival, organised by Delhi Tourism, ended today after drawing record crowds. The event saw some of the rarest of flowers on show, garden lovers had their fill of bonsais and cacti, Ikebana displays of the Sogetsu and Ohara schools and potted plants in aesthetic layouts at the Talkatora Gardens.

Prizes were given away to winners in 22 categories and 175 sections such as potted plants, cut flowers, bonsai and foliage. Several floriculture societies from the North-East brought their native plants to the city. Sikkim and Jammu and Kashmir made their debut participation at the festival.
