MUMBAI, December 17: Bharatiya Janata Party corporator Rajesh Sharma in a letter to the municipal commissioner today complained about the illegal construction being carried out by alleged drug lord Iqbal Mirchi at Khar.
Sharma stated that Mirchi had made major unauthorised changes to a two-storeyed building called Link Plaza located at the junction of Linking Road and 33rd Khar Road. Mirchi had dug a 20 ft basement violating the corporation rules. He also stated that the ward office had not initiated any action against the construction .
