PSCB best co-op bank
The Punjab State Cooperative Bank Limited (Chandigarh) has bagged the first prize for its performance amongst the cooperative banks in the country. The award, which was instituted by Nabard, was presented by Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee to Punjab Cooperative Minister Ranjit Singh Brahampura. PSCB chairman Gurcharan Singh Bachi and managing director Parmeshwar Singh Sidhu were also present on the occasion. The bank has been selected on the basis of performance indicators such as profitability, asset, business growth, improvement in human resources development and successful introduction of information technology.
